Comment:
Time once again, for another Father's Day inspired trip through the roots of my sonic obsessions. This year it's a tribute to that symbol of rock excess & artistic bankruptcy, the live LP.Feedback:
fuckin' killer stuff, man. holy shit, I think I'm about to get my dadrock on myself...oooof, either that or I need to hit the sack. been celebratin' dads day a little early this evening. kewl stuff, man.
Real good stuff.
awesome idea. can't think of many live albums that really stand the test of time - always thought that the jam's "dig the new breed" was about as good as they got. well, that and cheap trick. good to see the mighty Tull here.
Very nice.
Big thumbs up on this one!
It's alive! EEE-AW!
(Though I think Dad has outlived a lot of the musicians represented here . . . I guess that's what a little clean living will do for you -- )

RAWWWWWWK! (See the Motorhead mix that I just posted. ;-) ) Nice.
Very cool. Great opener.
super RAWK!
Excellent all the way around!
i ain't no dad, but i can dig this puppy.. and dig it i will!
Rock It!!
What!? No Peter Frampton? You ignored the man who brought us the best selling live album of all time?! He even inspired the cover and name of this mix. You should be ashamed of yourself. That aside, this looks pretty rockin'. Is that photo from the plugged in production of Electric Guitarist on the Roof?
i'm suddenly feeling very, very old (and of course, I like it).
