As I sat last night in the midst of an always-too-long Canadian winter, I began to remember summer nights... and the songs that made them so special. Of course, I was compelled to make a tape, as always. And this is it... songs that bring me back to warm summer evenings with people I love... songs that make me yearn for the time when I can once again eat crabapples right off the tree and swim in warm lakes lit by the moon. Songs that bring me through a memorable summer night, from sunset to sunrise. Some of the choices may seem obvious, but the songs I picked all mean something wonderful to me ...as I watch the snow fall outside my window.
