Volume two, revised. There may actually be a volume three... Last tracks cut: "Winner of the," "Strings of Nashville," "Secret Knowledge of Backroads," "She Believes," "All My Friends," "Major Leagues," "Folk Jam," "I Wanna Mess You Around," "Black Out," "Extradition," and "AT & T."Feedback:
Until recently I didn't have much of their stuff beyond the first two albums. Another mix volume would work for me. Their newly expanded albums are nice too.
Nicely done again, but the Crooked Rain version of "Grounded" is pretty flat sounding compared to the one on Wowee Zowee. A volume 3 would be interesting.
Funny, while your first disc was similar to my own pick of Pavement faves, we vary quite a bit on this one. Your disc II includes a lot of the tracks i would find essential on disc I (i.e. Hair, Gold, Stereo, Shady, Spit), and a lot of tracks I routinely skip when listening to the albums. I'm a bit more partial to some of the jangly Spiral Stairs tracks that didn't make your cut.
