Comment:

This is my second Wilco mix. I believe it to be superior to my previous mix because, in essence, I put some thought into this time. Tracks 1, 7, 15 and 19 can only be found on the Wilco documentary "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" (2 Disc DVD Version). I like the first track because it is a cute scene, sadly a deleted scene, of Jeff trying to answer a question while a toy robot says "I love you." Tracks 8, 14 and 16 are from the "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Demos"; track 8 is a slower, more acoustic "Kamera", different from the versions on "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" and the "More Like The Moon" EP; track 8 is a remix of "Heavy Metal Drummer"; track 16 has only been released on "YHF Demos". Track 9, 20 and 22 are personal edits by myself that, in my humble opinion, are better than the originals; track 9 cuts out about a minute of pointless nylon guitar noodling - basically the entire first instrumental break (not that I didn't like the noodling, I did leave in the second instrumental break - seems less gratuitous to me); The other two tracks just had a bunch of musique concrete, which is fine, unless you are trying to make a mix of SONGS NOT JUST NOISE AAGH!! The newest track is "Just A Kid" from "The Spongebob Squarepants Movie" soundtrack - quite a groovy tune. And note the sequence - The lead in track's "I was about to say the only profound thing I've said in this whole movie" to track 2's "I just can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read"; "Hummingbird" trails into "Summer Teeth"'s intro of birds chirping, and I think "Less Than You Think" segues nicely into "Red-Eyed And Blue". That's it!
