"What am I supposed to be?" Cover image comes from
ephemeranow where dozens of equally inexplicable fragments of 50's print ads can be found

Damn you lof-fi - I have that same image in the hopper for a mix cover. Lots of my covers have at least in part been pilfered from ephemera now. Great mix - especially the Embarrassment and Flesh Eaters.

I'd like to dip my pickle in this mix. Sweet mix -- one to relish.

the joy of a lo-fi posting is that it invariably sends me scurrying back to the shelves to check out what hazily remembered gem has received the lo-fi imprimatur. in this case, loved the lennon, slits, bob wills, mops, OTC and longtime fave erotic city. leave it to jim to rehabilitate 90s era stones - i'd forgotten that memorable B-side. but this truly hit home because my wife's nickname is pickles, making me a sort of mr. pickle myself. how ya been jim?
