Looks like some lovely stuff on both mixes madamoiselle, though to be honest I'm much less familiar with the newer artists coming out of France than I am with the 60s stuff. Hopefully you'll part with copies of these if I send you something in return. I think it's what the kids call a trade.

I'm working on a Golden Hour of French Pop which I fear will appear greatly inferior to this.

moe to be honest, i like modern french pop because it reminds me so much of the singer/songwriter stuff i loved so much about the sixties. i think you'd like a lot of this, think more along the lines of soft gainesbourg or francois hardy, but sometimes they get a little funky too :)

I too am drawn to the French culture -- which reminds me, weren't you going to send a copy of one of your earlier French mixes as part of a trade from 3 or 4 months ago?

another great one ... i love how there are different styles here, but it all works together... I especially like "la brune," "raphael," "la mart du peuple," and closing with "bien"
