Comment:

This mix is for a my holiday in France this year. Me and some mates are going to a flat in a village in France, and will spend all our time enjoying the sun and drinking more than is good for us. Some songs are here because they are about that, some are here because they fit that sort of mood. I lied, this is actually going to be on two CDs, but I want that whole casette feel of two sides. Side 1 is mellow, and more laid back. Side 2 is for when we have had a bit too much to drink and want to rock out, and take it back to what's golden; old-school style. The title is from a lyric in an Ash song, that in the end I didn't include. I'd like feedback, especially seeing as I haven't burnt this to CD yet (so it isn't final) because my CD burner is broken right now.

holy crap, this is the greatest thing EVER. you have my reverence and respect. if you could squeeze in a little more nina simone (like feeling good) that would make it even better. wow, this is just so weird because it's the exact same songs i've been listening to recently.

Thank you! I must admit I am tempted to put a bit more Nina Simone on, possibly along with some Tom Waits, but I am having a hard time deciding what will have to be sacrificed. And it's difficult to put it in a good place in the play order.
