Comment:

Robyn Hitchcock of The Soft Boys wonders if it'll rain, and Brandon Curtis of The Secret Machines sings "maybe the rain will stop following me", so I guess it did rain after all. Side 1 is pretty quiet and Side 2 pretty loud. "This Town" sounds like a Pixies ripoff, and "Through My Sails" features Crosby, Stills & Nash. Martha Wainwright sings backup to her brother on "The One You Love"

Side two's theme is interesting. I have seen all the bands on that side perform except Sufjan Stevens who I will see next week. I'm seeing Kings Of Leon, Secret Machines and The Arcade Fire again this year, and possibly Kyle Riabko a second time. (I also might see Smog) I have the autographs of the first four artists on side 2. My sister has the autograph of M. Ward. I own all the cds that songs on Side Two come from, except the Keane and Secret Machines albums. Keane's songs are from a library CD, as are all songs on Side 1, and "Now here Again" is from a mix cd a friend made. The M. Ward cd is my sister's.
