I probably need more female voices in my record collection, and like pretty much all of the names here I'm familiar with (Rilo Kiley, Cat Power, PJ Harvey, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fiery Furnaces, Portishead), so I'll have to check out some of the others.

What do you think of Leslie Feist? I think her album is a bit over rated, but she guests on Kings Of Convenience's last album. She sings the last half of "The Build Up", and I swear to god her voice on that track is so beautiful I want to curl up into a ball and live inside it. I guess it wouldn't fit this mix, considering.

That Cat Power song always gets to me...so beautiful. Just started listening to some Julie Doiron, it's really quite good. I bet this would be nice.
