Sweet, especially Pitney's "Last Chance...". Nobody believes me when I tell them, but I caught We Five in '65 -- along with the original Byrds and Bo Diddley -- in, of all places, Rome, GA, as part of Dick Clark's Caravan of Stars.

Set the wayback machine to 1965! Th Watts riots, the Beatles had just been knighted, "Goldfinger" was a hit movie, Lennie Bruce was going to jail, & Papa's Got a Brand new Bag. Quite a mixed bag of a summer . . .
