Comment:

A friend gave me this challenge: "I want a mix of songs for a Western film that Terry Gilliam would make. Think "Black Wings" (Mr. Tom) or "The Killing Moon" (Echo & the Bunnymen). If you were to wander a barren expanse in the western portion of this country killing hookers, drinking whiskey, riding a horse with a poorly constructed robotic leg, and running from the devil, what would you want to listen to? What songs would you write?" And this mix is what I came up with.

love the concept and the choices here. I'll offer the Black Heart Procession who are perfect for this sort of thing. Check out Tropics of Love for saloon bar action or anything of 'three' for dust storm melancholy
