The Meatles vs. The Four Seasonings
Comment:
Vinyl, cassette & the occasional mp3 download derived mix compiled in the old fashioned late night get drunk & play one song after another fashion. Dedicated to my record loving brother, Eric Schmuckler. The cover is a gag on the old Beatles vs. The Four Seasons quickie comp.
Feedback:
looks like a late night, and a fun one too
Cool. My drunken mixes aren't half as good as this alcohol-fueled gem. Great cover too -- worthy of the AOTM cover hall of fame. My vote goes to the Meatles. Is that John Loin-in on the upper right?
Nice.
The cover alone deserves kudos! :)
Hilarious!
Great cover & fun lookin' mix!
this rules! i'd love to hear it. great cover, of course.

Cool mix with a great cover. (I think I'll skip the free colorectal exam, though)
Wow! Fantastic mix overall. Cool Specials pick, and I love the cover.

meaty & highly seasoned, thats how I like it. "One thing after another" seems to be a pretty good recipe -- love that space guitar!
Nice one. Great cover too.
Well....
How can you have any pudding if you don't beat your meat?
Great Lemon Drops, as well as the Jazz Butcher (!)and Terry Reid...plus, I salute your mix-making ethos. Always have.

sorry it's taken me so long to catch up, jim, but thanx for the warm thoughts. this looks ultra tasty and i've drunk nothing stronger diet lime coke. love the individuals (saw them at the mudd club), the macca i've recently grooved to, the johnny gtr track we've both overused and rightly so, specials, marva, troggs, neon boys, barry goldberg (already shortlisted for my next jewtape), chris spedding, terry reid and i'll have to scan the archives for that 4 seasons track. of course a bravura cover for admirers of obscure beatles references. beautiful, jim, and it's been far too long since we traded.
