Comment:

A friend asked for a mix she could keep in her car. So I tried to come up with something which might fit her (more mainstream than my own) taste without too much dull stuff; the first song notwithstanding, it's not a car/driving theme at all, but simply a collection of some songs I just never get sick of, oveplay (in some cases) be damned. Mostly middle-of-the-road sounding, a few classics and a few newer faves and various random tracks in between. Think I'll keep a copy in my own car as well.

Interesting CD cleaning agent there.A fine mix which has inspired me to peer under my car seats for lost mix tape classics.

I'd like to find this one on the floor of my car... or preferably in my car's CD player...

Looks great -- sometimes mixes like this can help those with more "mainstream" tastes really branch out! :) I hope this isn't the floor of your car...

Looks good. Yes, this is a bit mainstream to most of us AOTMers -- who often like to impress others with our knowledge of obscure artists known to about .0014 percent of the population. But to your everyday person who listens to commercial radio and buys a CD every now and then, this mix is perfect. Let's hope she takes better care of it than the driver of this car. At least the CDs I have on my floorboard are still in the case.

Cool cover! I could definitely have fun listening to a lot of this, and I love that Shins pick especially. Oh, and any mix with that kick-off has to be good!
