Comment:

My friend Ernie bought a soda for me at the movies the other day, so I promised him some cds. This one was mainly inspired by some itunes purchases (numbers 1,2,3,5, 7, 8 and 24), but I included some other favorites. There really isn't a planet or space theme in the middle. I don't know what is up with that. (note: this mix was edited Oct 23, 2005. Mixel Pixel, Maimou, Harry Nilson, and The Church songs were removed. The Ray Lamontagne, Gillian Welch and TV on the Radio songs were added. I am going to try to include the former groups songs on other mixes. They just didn't seemt to fit so well here.)

Lots of great songs. I like mixes with more than one version of a song, and embedded mini-themes. Very nice.

Theres one verifiable suicidable Elliott Smith cover of Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. I don't think I've heard anything more pathetic in my whole life. Beautiful though.
