Thanks, jerkypants i'm a girl. Palo alto are a relatively new band that kind of sound like pablo honey-esque radiohead. Soul coughing broke up, beat-heavy, techno-sounding, alternative rock jazz ish. Good stuff. Go read about them at allmusic.com
