Comment:

By request. A new girl. A new mix. Some lovely, peaceful, hopeful feelings coupled with a healthy dose of ambivalence based upon the freshness my recent breakup (and the circumstances surrounding it). We'll see what happens. Title from the Black Lipstick song, whose opener status I cribbed from the almighty (and sadly absent around these parts) caps lock.

Very nice, my friend. That Black Lipstick song is indeed untouchable, as is those opening four tracks. Good stuff.

Ah, fond memories of "Hang Out Right," from one of my favorite albums ever. That you continue to meet & woo women who don't run away screaming when you break out the BJM or J&MC is truly astounding (speaking as someone who is coming up on 20 years with a girlfriend/wife who hates 95% of my collection).

Just super, Rob. Best of luck with the new romance. I think any right-thinking gal would go nuts for guy who'd put Big Star, T.Rex and that White Stripes song on a mix for her.

So your new love interest is a Conservative? Either way, I hope this mix helps steals her heart, and her ears. We don't want to see any more break-up mixes anytime soon!

Really lovely. I hope she likes it (though I'm sure she will!) and hope it all goes well for you. Although, as Jenny said, with THIS sort of music taste she'd have to be mad not to think you're great! :) Especially like the T.Rex, Suede, Orange Juice and Beatles.
