Comment:
Originally inspired by "Shag - The Movie." This is good listening for us northern folks in the dead of winter when it seems like it'll never be warm again. Nothing new, just classics. Keeps my feet movin'.Feedback:
Very nice, love #24.
This looks a great way to spend 80 minutes or so
Would love to hear this one.
Looks nice. I would like to here this someday.
Dead winter? Lucky you, we've got 40¦C here. And it ain't beach heat, but desert. This seems very well mixed, and don't wear shoes, they're bad for your feet. Go barefoot.
Don't know that Archie Bell track but I do have Bobby Bland singing 36-22-36, maybe her little sister
This is loaded with all kinds of yester-year goodness!! Take your stars and enjoy them.
Great mix, but actually 39-21-46 was by The Showmen, (I also love that you included the lesser known "It Will Stand", I have that on another mix I'm gonna upload). What a lot of people don't realize is that if you give The Showmen and Chairmen of the Board a close listen you'll hear the same voice. General Norman Johnson was the lead singer for both groups.
I am rather miffed with myself for missing this one. It looks like the proverbial dog's wotsits.
