Comment:
Inspired in parts by this painting & Munch's The Night Wanderer, images that have for one reason or another haunted me. It seems totally unnecessary to me to write anything about Munch as a painter or as a man as this mix is not about Munch but me or at least what these 2 paintings trigger within. Enjoy! Image up-date courtesy of g.a.b. who had 10 minutes to kill...oh & Mr Munch himself.Feedback:
Wow. Crazy. Lovely. Cool.
Now that's wot I'm talkin' about...
Now this is art!
Simply fantastic. Love the utilization of various music styles and seemingly unlikely juxtopositions.
Beautiful.
Beautiful.
Lovely.
What a loely idea for a mix. And a great realization of the concet. Boy, do I ever love that Four Tet cut, and the Gene Vincent . . .
Kingsbury Manx and Tindersticks - almost a perfect mix (no Marianne Faithfull?)
Beautiful, and I love Munch. great idea for a mix - I particularly like the Four tet and Tchaikovsky.
Nice one. Liking the Eno, Gene Vincent, Twin Peaks, & that strange Procol Harum picks in particular.
very nice.
Okay, now return The Scream.
Outstanding, Dom
Impressive. I understand what you mean about being personally inspired by a painting I have quite a few poems I have written that were brought forth by muses found on canvas...Great job!
Nice job! love that Clinic.
Gene Vincent and his Blue Caps. Ahhhh. Nothing sounds better to me right now.
If I had a nickel for every time I've seen that old Gene Vincent into Tchaikovsky transition I'd have... well, a nickel, I guess. Impressive as ever, Dom. Wonderfully eclectic.
very nice - somewhat of a challenging subject and mix.
Munch to love here (sorry). Eclectic as all hell -- makes me want to scream.
Great all around, but I really dig the Cag thru Eno stretch.
great idea for a mix... and perfect results! :)
