Comment:

Compiled 2005. Making this mix was like pulling teeth. Usually, I can put together a whole tape in one concentrated three-and-a-half-hour sitting, but in this case I spent that long on just the first side, and then realized a couple days later that while I had chosen most of the songs correctly, the order was totally wrong. It was a bitch and a half, let me tell you. As for the usual nitpicking, "Pee Now" is the second of the three extant versions, the one from EXORCIST BUTTMAN IN LOVE. Headgirl-- which the record label would prefer to call "Motorschool"-- was a one-shot collaboration between Motorhead and Girlschool which sadly recorded nothing but this one Johnny Kid and the Pirates cover; the B-side of the single had Motorhead covering Girlschool's "Emergency" (one of the VERY few songs on which Fast Eddie Clarke sang lead) and Girlschool covering Motorhead's "Bomber."
