Comment:

wow all of these songs make me so happy!! i made this cd for some of my friends who are not so familiar with the early indie/pop sound. ok a few songs do not fit like madness, or the clamheads who, as far as i can figure out, are relatively modern (i got the song off a sounds of leamington spa comp) but it's the sound, baby! it's all so good!!
ok. yousendit.com is tentatively working to host a few songs for me. so you can click on the songs and listen for yourself!
i was just thinking, is this music what c86 is? if it is, i liiiiike it.

An overabundance of great songs, and you're so sweet for sharing a few of them, like the incredible LBGP and Brilliant Corners. You make me so very happy. I'm so glad you came into my life.

Very C86.My girlfriend and I recently bought several issues of an eighties magazine called Underground which championed many of the bands on your mix. You're missing Mighty Mighty, bung them on your next effort.Incidentally do you have the NME C86 compilation?

They mean Mighty Mighty, another fine late 80's indiepop band. There are a couple of reissues available through Vinyl Japan.
