i'm getting married in two weeks and this is one of the favors we'll have for the guests. want to know why i'm getting married? my wife to be loves all these songs as much as i do. and yes, i know the title is from a song that isn't on here. but it still works. also, we were going to have a hidden track... "w.i.f.e." by the old 97's. but we decided that, with our ceremony and reception, we wanted to make our families hate us less than they're going to already.

all those songs sound very nice. it'd be weird to recommend a song for this mix, but whatever. "Safe and Sound" by Hawksley Workman is almost as sweet as "First Day of My LIfe," which probably deserves a crown or something.
oh! and "Still" by Elvis Costello.

WHOA! If you just count tracks 1,2,3, and 7, this is the greatest romance mix of all time. I never thought to put those songs together for such an idea, even though I love them all. You are a very lucky man and it's clear that you guys are going to be really happy together. Best wishes :)
