these are the songs that belong to the awkward stretch of time in between summer and autumn. not quite either. a little of both. these are in-between songs. they are twilight, midnight, foggy. they are meant to be listened to alone, for even while this music is playing for a crowd of people, these songs will sing solely to you. they are meant to be listened to on a train. they are the songs of walking the chilly city streets. this is the soundtrack of waking up with a scratchy throat (because it was cold in your room all night long) and then realizing that you are so far away from your dreams. nostalgia is no good for you. this is the sound of nostalgia.
