Comment:
A bunch of groovy, reggae-infused covers of r&b, soul and disco classics.

it definately has a place in my life . . .
Great Stuff, TM! Soulful Strut is a great fave.
This looks great!
Looks like a great collection. When Cedric starts "That Shaft is a bad mutha..." does he have somebody in back going "Shut your mouth!"?
I think the best comment I can make is to echo back your own:Lovely, as always (on these increasingly rare occasions). Great cover too, Thomas.
Oh dear me. I believe you mean Reggae has Soul? Hmm yes. Clearly your english grammar needs work-- (unless you're using some of that modern street language I learned about on a PBS documentary last night) -- but you're quite right, the reggae music genre does have quite a bit of that soul flavor you speak of. In fact there ain't a song on this joint that don't send me clear up the pole, sheeeeeit. I be diggin' that Black Harmony song like a mutt digs a pork rind, I tell you what.
Soulful jammin'.
Welcome back! Don't know much here, but your cover mixes are always first rate. Boogie on reggae Thom -- and keep working on that English grammar! ;)
nice one indeed!!!!!!
Looks really, really nice Thomas. Have you ever been to the little island?
Wonderful!!!
Reggae *and* Thomas Got Soul.., like that Otis Gayle pick, among others.
Niiiiccccce.
Really well done.
Really well done.
Really nice collection.
Looks mighty interesting! I'd love to hear the Curtis Mayfield and Young-Holt especially...
By the way, could there be a better band name than Tropic Shadows? Or is that the bourbon talking.
Splendid mix.
Worth the wait! I'd been wondering what you'd be up to/where you'd gone etc.
