1960 wasn't one of my favorite years but with the Everly Brothers, Rick Nelson, Roy Orbison, The Ventures and Dinah & Brooks you can't go wrong.

The common wisdom is that nothing much was happening between the time that Elvis went into the army until Beatlemania. I've been hearing the same sort of somplaints about the music scene today. Your mix demonstrates that there's good music to be found even when what dominates the charts may not be all that interesting.
