Feedback:
I love that Kim Carnes song - "All the boys think she's a spaz!" - this mix sounds like my brain at thirteen, brings back some lurid memories...
I LOVE Stevie Nicks and Pat Benatar... and Bette Davis Eyes is a GREAT song. Lol... and my bestfriend was trying the other day to convince me that there was an 80s song called Gloria. I didn't believe her, but now, I guess I do. lol.
Like the Mix, hate the name. It's more than a little offensive. Be classy, change it up, please.

actually, the title refers to myself. I got called fag a lot in 8th grade. being a fag is ok, so it's not a very effective insult. this is some music I liked then, still do.
Like the theme here, even if a lot of the music isn't my typical listening fare. But can't help but think that Belle & Sebastian would fit well here, particularly "The State I Am In".
...and this is a pretty awesome mix.
it reminds me of this big stack of old 45s i found in an abandoned warehouse. they've got all these upbeat tunes, but when you listen to those really great oldies, they aren't nearly as happy as they sound.
what i mean is that, 8th grade sucked a lot, but being a fag is okay, so i can totally get down with this mix of dnace & sorrow and totally glam that this tape is giving me.
(plus, these are some fine songs)
