Comment:

For the past 3 months, the plushpig household has been undergoing the protracted & sometimes painful process of moving home from inner South London to the suburbs, so my visits to AOTM have recently been spasmodic to say the least.

As a lifelong urbanist, I'm still a bit ambivalent about this change of environment, but on the positive side, suburbia has long been one of (if not THE) main crucibles of British pop and when my two boys reach adolescence there should be plenty for them to vent their hormone-fuelled surliness on (hopefully in a creative fashion).

Anyway, here's something that starts off as a kind of soundtrack to the events of the last several weeks before settling into a chronicle of the joys / horrors my new lifestyle might or might not have in store for me.

Think of it as a pale Anglo counterpart to Deadman's peerless "Blue Suburban Skies" mix.
