Comment:

Arrrr, a quick one from the lassie with the heart warm enough to liquefy all Iceland... not much of an objective reason i suppose for me to post this mix... a grand total of five source cds for this one (Post, Telegram, Vespertine, Vespertine Live, Med·lla -- all i had when i was making this mix) and designed as something of a companion to Bj÷rk's Greatest Hits, with the same number of tracks and no tracks in common (though the original Hyperballad and Isobel show up on GH). i find the whole durn thing hella comforting -- like i'm wrapped in some sort of cocoon myself when listening to it. Thus "It's not meant to be a strain" (substitute "astray"/official lyric "a strife"), refrain/MANTRA of "Undo", when the world gets too hard, rest in the brilliant Med·lla bosom. i love how the Med·lla and Telegram tracks intertwine, together more than half the mix -- my 1st and 2nd favorite Bj÷rk albums respectively, with better sound quality for LUSHNESS than any other albums of hers i know of. like i'm biting into a long continuous delicious fruit. for the Gusher essence of Bj÷rk, abangaku's self-promoting subsystem says no further search necessary.
