Comment:
personally, i am very happy with this mix. it was inspired by my very recent discovery of bob dylan's "brownsville girl" - a very wonderful song from his officially crap period - which reminded me that music isn't always only about a beat or a riff or a sneer or a cute girl or a gimmick. so this is, in my far from humble opinion, a collection of outstanding and complimentary songs from some of the finest songwriters (and generation x - thrown in for a riff, a sneer and a little light-hearted ballast). i should probably have called it something like "a love of words", but this title simply leapt out at me from another half man half biscuit song and it just seemed to good to resistFeedback:
this looks very gnarly...
