Comment:

I'm fairly new to this excellent site so if this theme has been done before i apologise for being highly unoriginal. It may look like its been thrown together but it took a fair while and in my opinion every track is a belter. On listening to the completed Cd it surprisingly flows quite well, although Jurrasic 5 and Big Star don't sit too pretty next to each other. Oh, and apologies to Paul Hardcastle but Steely Dan won out in the end!

Bummer, I was hoping you would get up to Star 69. Nice mix.

Yes it's been done before. It will be done again; and why not, it's a good idea. This particular offering is a fabulous example. Every single track is a doozy. I cannot make one of these mixes now, because sammyg, like the devil, has all the best songs. TVC15 and Take Five -- you bugger! Well done and, beg beg, how about a copy? Please.

Wow! you've gotta admire that sammyg. You throw down the old gauntlet, he's gonna pick it up and throw it right back at ya. There are two tracks he mentions that I've never heard of, but the rest are great. I'd happily listen to this one. I bow to sammyg's superior knowledge and I doff the proverbial cap to him. "Yo, Adrienne.."

...as Steely Dan should. what a fine mix of great stuff. Tennessee Ernie Ford's ballad "Twenty-One Years" would make a nice bonus track. great work!
