Creatures of every hue. Kicks off snarling and feral but ends up something else altogether.Feedback:
Nice, eclectic mix, a few I don't know, but any mix with Gene Clark and King Tubby is better than most to begin with.
Hey, Alma. Is it true about you and John Lennon? I know, It's none of my business. Forget I asked. This is a crackin' mix. MILES DAVIS, McCARTNEY singing "Every Night" -- tune! WILLIE NELSON, KING TUBBY, KRS-ONE -- and it starts with THE FALL. Sounds great to me. Don't Feed The animals or step on the plants. Just keep up the good work.
great sandwich - the Fall & King Tubby at each end !
Captain Beefheart did "Moonlight in Vermont"?? Billie Holiday, move over! A very diverse collection in this zoo.
Looks swell. I love that Johnny Cash song.
Tremendous!
Joey - it's not that Moonlight In Vermont, this is the Captain's very own avant-blues creation which just happens to have the same title as the jazz standard. You'll find it on Trout Mask which can be an ordeal in it's entirity but individual tracks tend to illuminate mixes to startling effect.
Fantastic debut.
