This is not your ordinary "Let's Get It On" mix. For instance, there's no Marvin Gaye. I was trying to move away from cheesey, overdone make-out music and just use mellow, "let's light some candles, drink some red wine and break out the massage oil" kind of music. I think it turned out rather well. Trust me.
Feedback:
I think the bulk of this mix is awesome. But the subject matter of "Angie" would totally throw me for a loop in that situation.
I agree, retrolowfi, there are a few songs (River) that don't lend itself to romance, as such; but it was the flow of the music and the tone of voice that, well, turned me on.
