A bit contrived admittedly -the title came first & then I cast around my collection for appropriate picks, but I limited myself to stuff I genuinely like so no "Vincent" or god forbid "Matchstalk Men & Matchstalk Cats & Dogs" ( non-Brits -you really DON'T want to know about that last one!)

Triffic stuff! & you really should have included Matchstalk Cats & Dogs (Lowry) because there aint many British Painters with songs about them...I presume Dury's is about his teacher Pop Artist Peter Blake.
