Comment:

The title comes from Fatal Wound, such a dark lyric from Tweedy lit up by this imagery in the middle eight "...columns of sunlight, glorious cities and oceans of opportunity.." Elsewhere we find the wastrel Doherty who may just be a daft wee chancer but his vocal here is lovely. There's no overall theme but adjacent tunes do have a link, if only in my mind e.g. 3,4 codeine is the link 10,11 mean streets 11,12 epilepsy 12,13 tight snare drum sound etc.
