Never sure about calling something "indie" rock. I mean I know some of these tracks are on indie labels, but I'm not sure about others, and pretty sure some others are from major labels and/or their subsidiaries. Does anyone care that much? I suppose I used to care more than I do now. It seems now akin to my feelings about visual arts; I mean I'm not really that concerned about process. The separation of craft and art - though it's not quite as simple as that. I guess it's not really a parallel, it just seems like maybe I'm not as concerned about the mechanics anylonger, just the results.
