Comment:

I forget who said it, but Ryan Adams IS a prolific motherfucker... and I agree with them. You could spend a very long time tracking down everything he's done. For the purposes of this greatest hits set though... I only really took songs from his main albums. Some are B-Sides that were on singles and such, and are also on his unofficial releases... like the "Suicide Handbook" and stuff. But for all intents and purposes, this is his "official" stuff. I used 5 songs from each album, except Gold, where I used 6, and I also used 6 B-Sides, but mainly this is all even across both discs. You don't know how bad I wanted to have one disc for B-Sides, one disc covering everything up to "Demolition", then one from Rock N Roll on... but a 3 disc greatest hits? That's just excessive... though I am probably going to make it anyway, it just won't be a part of this set... but yeah. This disc technically is everything up to "Demolition" with the exception of "Wonderwall", but it's just such a great closer here.

Looks good. I don't think 3 discs are excessive. Check out my Ryan Adams mix.

Three cheers for Mr. E! Ryan Adams is a GOD and you did a magnificent job here. And you included my favorite song, "La Cienega Just Smiled"... I also agree with steelkillie, a three-disc greatest hits would be fabulous, and I myself would love to see it completed. Many kudos to you and keep up the good work!
