this mix is made to go through the discontent, apathy, and anger that comes from the state we live in - be it depression (let me in, son of sam), commercialized music (panic), or political strife (usa). The turn around rests in beautiful night - with the end these beautiful songs - i've been searching for the ted leo song for years...i like the transition between late and son of sam - having heard that late was written as an elegy for elliot smith. let me in is written as an elegy for kurt cobain.
