Comment:

Inspired by seeing MES & the lads (& lass) last night. Smith's world view is so singular that it's often overlooked that the Fall are one of THE great covers bands. Their choices are never predictable & always wonderful. I've lost count of the number of times the phrase "where the fuck did they dig THAT one up from?!" has flitted across my mind while listening to them. Here's a bunch of originals culled from my collection.

Excellent! I was thinking of putting together something like this, but then I ditched the idea realizing I don't have many of the original tracks. (Who did "I'm a Mummy," by the way?)

Absolutely, positively, irrefutably outstanding.

Has to be top nomination for the best concept and the best mix awards or some such irritating excuse for a gathering of cocaine-sniffers.

The music is great, the variety is stupendous, the notes are totally wired and The Fall are an inspiration to us all.

In fact, this mix is an inspiration to us all.

Plushpig, take a bow.

p.s. The title should win another of those bloody awards, it's great.

Some of us may be right, and some of us may be going a little overboard. But one thing's for sure you're a winner through and through.
