Comment:

This mix is not cohesive at all. Sure there are a couple recurring motifs/genres/moods but probably just by accident. I like my indie pop, my Irish folk rock, my covers, my oldies, and my shameless love of pop maestros Hanson. I don't really like mash-ups but there are a few that hit the spot. The endless career of The Rolling Stones isn't really my scene, either, but they can still craft a big, rowdy rocker every once in a while. A new album by the Spin Doctors isn't much to sing about, but they provide disposable jollery, at least. "Shock Treatment", though a substandard film, has a small treasure trove of underrated showtunes. As for Queen, Iggy Pop, New Order...do I really need a reason to include these behemoths of musical greatness? No, I do not.
