Comment:

I've been an REM fan since I was 8. This is the first mix of their stuff I have ever attempted. i guess I was worried about doing their career justice. I used a 100 minute tape and still didn't get all the material i wanted to on here. This tape definately has a slant to their later work but I tried to keep it balanced with ealier stuff too. In the end I think it is a modest representation of one of the greatest bands of the last 25 years.

this is a good mix. i tend to use 120 tapes when doing a single artist mix so as not to leave anything off. i've been an rem fan for a long time. i tend to like the early stuff better in fact i didn't even buy up. my favorite albums are document and green. i made an rem mix years ago i'll have to see if i can dig it up and post here. i think you did this band justice though.

Ok, you've got "Texarkana" AND "What If We Give It Away". Two of the most unfairly overlooked classics in their repetoire. I'd say you did pretty well.
