Western Values Mean Nothing To Her
Comment:
Title from The Pop Group, image from Burning man. To the best of my knowledge, the Kousokuya track on the first volume of Tokyo Flashback has no title. If anyone can prove otherwise or (even better) provide me with a copy of their self-titled LP, I can promise you something boss in return. I am compelled to once again state that the Oliver here is NOT the same as the "Good Morning Starshine" guy. Also, the Outsiders featured here is the Dutch band, not the "Time Won't Let Me" group from Ohio. The Derek Bailey track is alleged to be a cover of a jazz standard. The Pere Ubu track however, is not.
Feedback:
Fantastic. Every...fucking (apologies to Dom's Luci)...track. The opening through Kousokuya is especially yummy to these ears.
Oh yeah Exactly what Curtis said. That Kousokuya track rules, as does pretty much everything on here. Awesome stuff, my friend.
Mmm! Yes, it's those Outsiders! And a Standing Stone Oliver, too!
Yes, this does look fantastic.
Fantastic.
And another fantastic from this quarter
excellent! (and what's so great about western values anyway?) I can see me doing some research on some of these . . . .
Mighty fine as always lo-fi!
Great band, those Outsiders. Great mix, this cd!
Great mix, Sir!
anything that includes Popgroup, animal collective and Lovin spoonful is fine with me
