Every year as fall turns to winter, I suddenly find myself living at the movie theater. The cover of this mix is exhibit A of my viewing schedule for the past few weeks. While this mix is rather mainstream in nature, I'm enjoying it for a few reasons. To begin with, the opening four tracks have a low sadness to them that suits the chilly weather around town. I was also surprised at a lot of songs I love that I've NEVER used in a mix for myself (Nirvana, Chilis, and Gabriel). So there it is, the soundtrack for the first days of snowfall.
