Looks Like Freedom; Feels Like Death
Comment:
Thanks to Dom1 for hipping me to the Sammy & Mamas & Papas versions, and to Jim Jackson for telling me about Liz Brady. The title is a lyric from the Cohen song; I'm not convinced about it, but could not come up with anything else. If anyone has a better suggestion....
Feedback:
fine fine
Cool stuff, especially the Supremes, Chocolate Watchband and James Brown.
Nice.
Amazingly, I seem to recognise an awful lot that is going on here (not all by any means). Looks good to me - and the title seems surprisingly close to home in my newly found sobre state of mind . . .
The title looks good to me! This is very nice - I love that Herb Alpert -> Mamas & Papas section. And the Three Dog night is, of course, a great inclusion.
Oh yes, let this be soundtrack of our Love-in, baby . . . ;)
Fab!!!
Terrific.
Like the song titles in sequence 20-22! Great mix C.
I'm all over that Chocolate Watch Band selection. Another nice mix.
Great stuff!
Great songs and I love the Charlie Rich pick!
Lots of good ones. Really love that Capitols tune.
I agree, looks great!
Suh-weeeeet!
I haven't commented on this one yet? Well slap my face and call me Wendy. Lots of lovely stuff! I even recognize a song used on my last mix (which is approaching the Canadian border as I type). Also diggin' Os Mutantes, Papas & Mamas and the Poppy Family
The radio is blastin', someone's knockin' at the door
I'm looking at my girlfriend, she's passed out on the floor!
I've seen so many things I ain't never seen before
But, what?! - you're telling me that no party lasts forever??!
Say it ain't so!
Great flow. Party!
