Comment:

A little experiment -- this year I used my digital camera to shoot video at pretty much every show I attended. The result is this DVD mix, featuring mostly performances from Madison, but going out as far as NYC for an acoustic, in-store set by the Hold Steady. It's a fun project for me, and hopefully a cool gift for my friends.

The second disc, which I only made a copy of for myself, is of my favorite televised performances of the year. Highlights include Max Weinberg playing drums with DFA79, Jared Leto bring 30StM to a full stop mid-song for a moment of silence for Hurricane Katrina, and System of a Down getting at least one "fuck" past NBC's censors.
