This CD was one of two I've recently made for a friend. They both consist of stuff he'd previously never heard. Although they're real mixed bags, I tried not to include anything too obscure or heavy going. I know the type of music he likes and lengthy free jazz freakouts wouldn't really have gone down too well. I feel it's important when making a mix for someone else that you try to tailor it towards their tastes, even if they say "surprise me". I simply tried to include a few of my favourite songs and others that I feel everyone should hear at least once in their lives, like the Kraftwerk track. The running order has no theme or flow to it as I attempted to compile them with a complete disregard for anything like that. He liked them so it was job well done!
