Comment:

76:30

Empathetic electronica; coupling thermal transfers with decalescent
drone, gradually building in speed, and culminating with Synthetic Block's resonating
electronic cover of
King Crimson's Sailor's Tale (the download of which may not be available for
much longer--so grab it while you can!)

O.K. Contest time. A multi-faceted question: What does T.A.G.C. stand for, who is the front man for this sidebar group & what's the name of his main band? (bonus props if you can also tell me the name of the late seventies, mainstream "pop" electronic group he also founded). 1st with the answer(s) gets a free copy in their mailbox.

T.A.G.C. = The Anti Group - (the C stands for "Conspiracy," "Collective," or "Communications")

Lead by Adi Newton of Clock DVA fame.

Ahh...the All Music Guide is good, Chris...but can't they make up their minds?
I need specificity: what does that darned "C" stand for???
Google knows & you can find the answer in just 4 clicks (from
here)
Plus, I'll give another copy, but not 2 to Chris (if he ever gets the name right
:D) for the bonus answer (the late 80's pop/electronic group thingy).

There was no plagarism rule...I cheated fair and square. Okay, down the rabbit hole I go...T.A.G.C. seems to be a genome research company based in Copenhagen. Nope, that's not it.

Let's try this link...oops (Not allowed by company internet rules). Surely can't be the right place to go...

Ahh, here we go...The C stands for Conspiracy and there seems to be some connection between Adi Newton and his work as a duo named Psychophysicist.

Okay, now how do I get out of this site...uh, oh...pop ups! Pop-ups, everywhere...not...going...to..get...out...aliv......................................

O.K. -- that's 1 copy awarded to the little (laughing??) gnome from Jersey...and 1 more to go...(and that answer's not

Psychophysicist, as good as they were)..it's a band, with several pop hits, "we" all danced to in the late 70's.
...oh it's not The Future, either...(hello, Valis!)

Not sure which I like better- GAB mixes where I don't know the majority of the artists; or ones like this where I know almost all the artists and can appreciate
the arrangement of the tracks- thanks for the reminder about Jonathan's mp3.

Good stuff, once again. I compressed it into MP3s for my jump drive, along with Twilight and Process, so I can play it on the train.

I was taking pictures at a recent high school prom and the deejay played this exact same set! The kids were dancing like there was no tomorrow.

So it took me a year to hear this, but nicely done. Especially like the first track (lol).
