Tambourines and elephants are playing in the band
Comment:
I've been meaning to do a disc of this band's best work for quite awhile now (think years), but didn't know anyone who had Pendulum on disc (which was absolutely essential to me, as it has a couple of my very favorites on it). That situation remedied itself recently, so here 'tis, my favorite 80 minutes by a band that doesn't enter my psyche very often (or cross my CD laser often), but that I enjoy well enough nonetheless. Last track cut: an edited version of "Keep on Chooglin'."Feedback:
CCR certainly had some great energy in the day. I still love Who'll Stop the Rain and Fortunate Son. Nice job!
The first band that I fell in love with (after The Beatles).Great choices Rob.
Very nice. CCR is still one of my favorites. A great singles band.
In their prime one of my favorite bands.
Very, very good. One of those bands that you know instantly after only hearing a few notes.
When one is undecided as to what music to play, you can always find enjoyment from some good ole CCR (at least for me anyway). Looks like a great mix, but I still may want to do one of my own sometime (and a song I'd include would definitely be Suzie Q).
Ditto Twang- the singles are just killer. Great stuff Rob- 1, 4-7, 15, 18, all marvellous.
A great band period!
Excellent comp, Rob. My mom & dad were HUGE CCR fans in their time, so I grew up on this stuff. Timeless.
Wonderful music from a great band. Nice work Rob.
One of my all time favorites. Got to see them perform a few times in their prime. Great stuff.
