I've been re-working this mix for the past couple of weeks, and I think this will be the final iteration. The title comes from a song Wilco recorded during the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot sessions, but left off the album.Feedback:
I totally get the groove you have here. At least for me, there's an autumnal bittersweetness flowing through it. Songs that smile but with weathered wisdom. It gives me chills just how perfectly you capture the mood (and with excellent songs no less, my favorite of which would have to be Tilly and the Wall, FoW, Wilco, Shins, and of course the Monkees). Oh, and kudos for pairing Beach Boys with that particular BB-esque Of Montreal song.
