Comment:

This may be a volume one. I wasn't able to get Sleater-Kinney, The Kills, BRMC, and all the other things that I've never even heard this year on here. And of course each artist that I did use had other songs that were just as good if not better, but not fot this mix. So maybe I shouldn't be calling it a best of but a nice moments of or something to that effect.

I get ya. I'll be equally doubting of my own upcoming Best Of mix, I'm sure, because there's just so much you want to represent. For what it's worth though, I think you definitely chose the best New Pornos song of 2005, and that Madonna sung is just uncommonly wonderful, and even though it's their overplayed hit I think "Blue Orchid" was the best track on the Stripes album. Plus you represent Rosebuds, Beck, The National, British Sea Power, and LCD, so you're on solid ground. I encourage you to make more "Nice Moments of 2005" mixes for our listening pleasure

Looks good -- we've got some commonalities on our best of '05 mixes...

Started working on mine this weekend. Looks like I need to do some shopping, as I've only got one song in common -- the New Pornographers' tune (I found most of the album a bit too grating, but that is one amazing song, particularly the second half).
