NOEL 2005-- continuing a personal and office tradition. This year I've actually made two versions of this mix, which share the same cover design. Listed above is the "sanitized" child/office safe incarnation of my yearly yule collection. The "adult" version contains: Fear - Fuck Christmas, Peter Murphy and Tom Waits - Christmas Sucks, Calibretto - Merry Freakin' Christmas, and Third Eye Blind - One Of Those Christmas Days. It omits, for the sake of continuity and style, Dido, and Belle and Sebastian. Since I am traveling for the holidays, I had to distribute these early always this year. It seems Christmas always entails rushing around at unsafe speeds in inclement weather, and having too little time to devote to this kind of mix only for some "miracle " to occur, but so far I have gotten good responses for both the cover and song choices from people at the office, so I am rather pleased. To all of my fellow AOTMers and mankind in general... Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year!
