Comment:

i usually don't like making end of the year mixes because usually i tend to like songs based on the context of the album they're in. thus, a "best of 2005" mix would fall flat just because the songs might not go well together, or might need the songs around it for me to enjoy it as much as i usually would.

so, for this project, i went through every 2005 release i had and could stand to go through, and wrote down the songs that i liked a lot and thought could fix on a "certain" mix. after amassing 93 tracks, i whittled it down to these 20. the interesting part is that many of these songs came from albums i otherwise could not stand (too many to name... literally half of these songs have that quality). so, this mix has another point: a way to listen to songs i loev from albums that are so bad that i would probably never listen to them again.
